Bright nickel plating is a decorative finish that is usually layered over an initial coating of copper to produce a lustrous, bright finish. The plating process protects the base material from corrosion and enhances the appearance by producing a bright shiny reflective finish.
Components can also be given a final layer of chrome, or alternatively an electrophoretic coating of dye and lacquer, to simulate various shades of gold.
Specifications up to BS EN 12540:200 SC4 are carried out on our fully automated rack plating plant.
