Chrome plating is an electroplating process used to improve the appearance and durability of the metal part or component. Not only does the chrome plating give the surafce a shiny, reflective finish, it also increases the corrosive resistance and protects against wear.
We specialise in the trivalent bright chrome plating of zinc diecast, mild steel and brass components. An initial coating of copper is overlayed with bright nickel and a final layer of chrome.
Specifications up to BS EN 12540:200 SC4 are carried out on our fully automated rack plating plant.
The plant’s advanced intelligent sequencing system allows several different process routes to be controlled simultaneously for example bright chrome, satin chrome, bright nickel or satin nickel.
